Me , myself and my avatar

What's this? A selfie? Do I want to use a filter?
No, I'll be natural. Let's see how far that gets me? 3 likes, 5, 10. Whoa! Hey these people love me.

Oh no! Someone just posted the most hideous picture of me. I must un-tag myself. If you are not family, a close friend or colleague; you're not permitted to tag me or see my photos.

I allow people to follow me on Instagram that I don't even know. The reason? Why I'm so confident? My appearance  is decided  by moi!

The person you see? The person I am is masked by what is socially acceptable. I put on a facade. I don't allow my personality to completely shine through. After all, there's privacy settings!

The goal of this poem was to show a positive side of technology which in this case depicts the idea that people will only know as much as you tell them.

No Computer, No Cry

This is an image of a skit I wrote. The topic I chose for my one-pager was "No computer, no cry". Here is a brief synopsis of the skit. If you've seen Smart House (a Disney Movie) then you know exactly where this is going. A newly wed couple is viewing a home. They fall in love with it although it is completely ran by technology. At the end of their tour the house itself releases extremely personal information about the couple. This is basically showing how privacy is diminishing as the world develops more and more with heavy use of technology.

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Talk about a flash from the past! You know you loved this movie! If not, you obviously did not have a childhood.
